SendovaQR is designed to be private, secure, and light-weight. The landing page is < 300 kB and designed to be very fast and user-friendly. There are no ad, marketing, or analytics trackers on the site, and this program never sends the encryption key anywhere; it is truly end-to-end encryption. There is even a manual share code in case you want to share to a device that can't scan a QR code.
Compared to some alternatives, there is no comparison. Other tools use tracking, don't use end-to-end encryption, and/or have large page sizes, eating into performance and your data.

Privacy & Terms

SendovaQR is designed to be simple and privacy-friendly. We only collect the minimum data needed to make file sharing work, prevent abuse, and manage paid licenses.

What we store

Temporary files

Files you upload are stored on our server so that the other device can download them. They are automatically deleted and are not kept for long-term storage or profiling.

Language preference

We store a small preference cookie (for example sendova_lang) so we can remember your chosen language.

License state

If you activate a license, your browser stores a simple flag in localStorage (for example sendovaLicensed) and we use a secure, HttpOnly cookie on this device to remember that this license is active here.

Security & anti-abuse

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to help block bots and abuse. When you solve the challenge, basic technical information such as your IP address and browser details may be processed by Cloudflare to verify that you are a real person.

Basic usage stats

When uploading files, we record simple, aggregated analytics such as language, country code, whether the session is free or licensed, and browser type. These statistics do not include the contents of your files.

How we use this data

• To provide the core service of sending and receiving files.
• To protect the service from abuse, spam, and automated attacks.
• To manage paid licenses and the number of devices using a license.
• To understand, in aggregate, which languages and platforms people use, so we can improve the product.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not run advertising or third-party tracking pixels.
• We do not inspect or profile the contents of the files you share, beyond what is technically required to store and deliver them.

Third-party services

SendovaQR runs on Cloudflare infrastructure (including storage and security tools) and uses Lemon Squeezy to handle payments and license keys. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies, and we only share what is required to operate the service and fulfill purchases.

Your choices & rights

You can choose not to use the service, clear your browser cookies and local storage, and avoid purchasing or activating a license if you do not want any license-related data stored. Because uploaded files are short-lived and automatically deleted, there is no ongoing data for us to remove after the share expires.
